Clear approval, access, and privacy information are part of preparing Family Care for release.
Approval comes first
The planned initial release is limited to assisted people age 18 or older who can sign for themselves. Email approval through a browser will be required before care information is entered. Using the app personally will be optional.
Shared information is still personal information
Care Circle content may contain personal information even when it is shared. Access should be limited to the trusted people involved in the arrangement. Account deletion and Care Circle deletion have different effects, which the agreements will explain.
Control over the arrangement
The planned approval process will explain optional delegation, revocation, suspension, and deletion. Suspension requires a separate email confirmation. These controls and their policy requirements remain release gates.
Coordination software
Veldac provides software for coordinating everyday activities. It does not provide care, medical advice, emergency monitoring, or emergency response. Medication check-ins do not verify that a dose was taken.
Agreements under review
The Family Care User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Data Deletion Policy are being finalized before enrollment opens. Approved versions will be linked before enrollment opens. This page is an overview, not a substitute for those agreements.
Privacy questions
Contact privacy@veldac.com. Please do not include passwords, verification codes, or sensitive care information in an initial email. Identity and authority must be verified before sensitive account requests are acted on.
